Today is a loosing day.

Tightened in the hut for the night, we're all wet and suffer several mosquitoes attacks, 'tiger mosquitoes', black, little and angry (hungry?). And let's not talk about the crabs and all the mysterious animals around that prevent us from falling asleep. Our bodies look like geographical maps, with hills and red and arid areas.

To end with this, it was really a sh... night. Today, we all look like wandering zombies on the desert island.

You sent us here for this 'survivor' experience and, after enjoying the firsts new days, the Paradise turned into a passage in Purgatory. There are some tensions in the group, some even want to leave the island tonight... we'll see!

But everybody has now to work and try to do his best. Vale and Aleko spend their day fishing under the sun. Instead of catching fishes, Vale gets a violent insolation. At the moment, she's not very well and rests in one of the fishermen's houses. Theo desperately tries to connect to the Web, but it seems that even satellites don't come around here. We fear not to be able to send this Journal. Maya films what we're doing and looks for inspiration for today's editing. Marco spends his day in 'stand-by'.

We had brought a treasure on the island: a pack of chocolate biscuits.

It has disappeared !!!

The news spreads around the atoll : what is 'The Mystery of Biscuits' ? The suspects are : us, Aria and Mun, the fishermen and a long list of animals: from ants to crabs, from mice to a strange reptile (a kind of iguana) that Marco saw yesterday. Then, the enquiry narrows around the human beings. It's one of us !

Rumors and confessions... The atmosphere is tensed : the biscuits were the only sweet left (except the sugar bags).

After a long discussion, here is the culprit: it was Aleko !

Accusation: he ate on his own a precious possession of the community.

Defense: "I was suffering of a strong lack of affection and I was not the only one... Was I, Theo ?"

Make up your own mind, Virtual !

The only positive element of our insomniac night was the vision of the wonderful spectacle of stars.

But on the first observation, we are lost. Do we have the head upside down ? We lost our point of reference, the Polar Star. But we found the South Cross. Finally, here is what unifies the two hemispheres: the Milky Way.

The Moon reminds us Bernardo Bertolucci's movie: 'A tea in the desert', when he says : "Full moon is once a month, but how many times can you say you really watched it ?"

NICOLE - thoughts

"Stay a few days on a desert island ?... therapeutic and re-dimensioning. You become very small again in front of Nature, submitted to its whims, and you're astonished by its wonders."

"I am humble and respectful again (...for just an instant maybe), even if I belong to the animal that communicates with satellite phones !"

Our ultimate day on the island... unless some of us decide to leave it tonight ?
