It's a bit hard to descibe a day spent in the sky!
Leaving its mixture with African People, the Car@van narrows around the Team. We slowly arrive to the Jo'burg Airport, and enter the aseptised international zone. And, in the 'no man's land', we breathe with melancholy the smell of our clothes, soaked with Africa.
As decided by the Virtual People, the trip towards East moves the clock forward; in Indonesia, there will be 7 hours of jet-lag... and a plane ticket that costs more than 700 US$ per person.
On the Cathay Pacific Jumbo to Hong-Kong and then Den Pasar, we prepare ourselves to a 14 026 km marathon and 17 hours flight. Marko and Aleko burn the joystick of the video games'console fixed on their chair, Maya and Theo discuss about Mankind's future, as Valeria laughs while watching a Mandarin movie with Japanese subtitles.
The short stop in the ultra-modern Hong Kong airport allows us to read international newspapers, admire the latest high tech products, and drink a 5 US$ coffee!
The flight to Denpasar is just like another one, but in the customs, our Nomad Kit is inpected. "Everything is fine!": the customs officers welcome us in Asia... here we are!

On the International Herald Tribune's today edition, we read a dramatical article: 'Blue Men' of the Sahara Put Down Roots'. Because of environmental and political changes, Tuaregs are giving up their camels caravans for gardening. Iliass Zakaria, Tuareg, explains that if he made a lot of money, he lost immeasurable things: "It was better to go out in the caravans and bring back things to the family... I know the Caravan so well. I think about it often even now. I even dream about it.'
Aleko: Since my first steps on the Yellow Continent, I felt it would be great
During the long flight hours, we immortalize in our thoughts the most intense experiences lived on the Black Continent:
The show in the Shelter House... the throwing of a message in a bottle from Cape of Good Hope... the encounter with the elephant family... Christmas with street kids in a township... the race to touch a zebra's tail... Lesotho... New Year's Eve in the lost village of Taung and the tribe's chief's speech... buying a sheep... the Nomad Project... the graffiti in Jo'Burg...-all these events that belong to Nomad Community.

The beginning of our exploration in Asia, waiting for your vote. Because of the jet-lag (+8h GMT), we will be on chat at 1:00 pm GMT. 'Selemat jalan!'
