We are 30 Km from Maseru, at the Royal Palace Hotel... what a luxury, you would  say! It's a ghost hotel, lost in the lands of Lesotho, and we're its only hosts.
We are waken up by a violent thunderstorm, then a strong wind that raises red dust, and now heat. We will stay here for the day, and tomorrow we'll explore the northern part of this small african kingdom.
Here is what we did this week-end, in Bloemfontein SA. Claude (see Other) invites us to a jazz concert at the Moods and Flavours, one of the best jazz clubs in South Africa, in the township os Heidedal. We will listen to the music of 'Moses Moleleuka's Band' a very good band.
Outside, big cars, inside, very well dressed black people. As soon as the music starts begins our trip in the deep African Jazz culture. The group in trance hypnotizes us for two hours. In the video, their music, live!
Moses, the star of the group, is 30 years old, rasta haircut and a long dark jacket. He tells us:" Music is like a language, it comes from different cultures. Like the pollen, transported by the wind, fertilizes flowers, music is also transported by musicians."
Moses comes himself from a musician family, his grandfather was a jazz componer, but by harder times for this music. Moses'band is composed of 8 musicians; the saxophonist is only 20 years old but the sound that comes out of his instrument gives him much more.

Moses: People is people (talking about cultures and people of the World)
Claude: Unfortunately, I can't travel as much as I would like to. This backpacker allows me to stay in touch with travellers; that's my way of travelling!"
Claude, our new 'hook'
Claude, 30 years old, was born in Bloemfontein SA. A passion for travelling, he owns the most beautiful backpacker of the area (on Naval Hill). He completely rebuilt with love and imagination this old buiding of the English-Boer war. Our Hook loves the great spaces and, as soon as he can, he gets away in his farm, far away from the city.
Before we leave, he offers us bouquet of sunflowers, a flower that always stands on the entry of Naval Hill Backpacker.
