The Day of mission 2 has arrived -explore-. You, virtual travellers, chose to send us to do 'Black Water tubing'. Well, we only needed two days to find the adequate place! Crossed the Tsitsikamma National Park, known for its famous forest and as a whale area, we go through the 451 meters of the Bloukrans bridge, the longest of Africa... And here is the Storm River Village. Built around sports activities, from bungee jumping to trekking, diving and astronomy nights, we are sonn remarked. Convincing other travellers, we sign up for 'Black Water Tubing' (320 Rands-45 US$ per head). Because of water, Maya only films our start and arrival.

After the first minutes, by when the desire of strong emotions makes us feel euphoric, the team is more and more quiet. 26 persons wearing a diving suit and running shoes swim mechanically on the calm river. We walk on slippy red rocks and jump into the water.
Our tube is now our best friend, the one that should help us to fight against cold and tireness. Half-way, a 'snack' break, to fill us with vitamins. We all wait for the great cascade, but it won't come.
Aleko: The kind of place where you get attacked by a dinosaur
Theo: Nothing would stop a Nomad!
I spent my childhood in South Africa, 25 years ago. I don't remember everything, but I kept some images: a lot of monkeys, like the dogs in Europe. And in the public bathes, the following inscriptions:
Black only - White only. Nowadays, a lot of things have changed: there are less monkeys and the racist inscriptions have disappeared. The first are protected in Parks; the seconds, in the cashiers'eyes. Theo

For the first time, we will have a day break. The next journal will be under the tree, on Christmas night. Meeting on chat tonight at 8:00 pm GMT !
